Then don’t miss the opportunity to participate with your images in the 4th Open Fotosub Online Isla de El Hierro! You have 5 months to take photographs in the sea of El Hierro Island and submit them in 5 different categories. You will be able to submit a maximum of 5 images per month in each category, all photos must be shot in El Hierro with the Authorized Diving Centers in the according month. These photographs will be rated by the Popular Jury, whose votes will choose 5 finalist images out of each category. In addition, the most voted image will be honored as Photo of the Month, and its author will be awarded with a prize of 300€.
By the end of September 2018, all the finalist photographs will be judged by a jury with recognized prestige who will decide the winners of the 5 photo categories. They are 9500€ in prizes!

Never mind! You just have to be an underwater image amateur to participate in the Online Open Fotosub: all you have to do is register yourself as a web user at the Online Open Fotosub Web and you will take part as Popular Jury to choose the finalist images and the best photograph of each month.

You must become a registered user of the Web entering here. Register yourself as a user by introducing your user name, your ID, your e-mail and the password of you choice: once the registration is confirmed, you will be able to vote all the photographs available at each time in the section “Images in Contest” on the menu above.
If you also want to submit your photographs to the competition, you can do so by going to the “Participate” section on the menu above, though before you must be aware of the criteria your photographs must follow to enter this competition: the photographs must be shot in El Hierro Island Waters between the 1st of April and the 31st of August 2019, always under the supervision of any of the Authorized Diving Centers of the event. You have to inform the authorized diving center about your intention to participate in the Online Open Fotosub when diving with them and don’t forget to fill in the Registration Form you will find HERE. When we receive the form, we will let you know how you should take the control shots, which are essential to be able to validate your photographs.
